Meet Rama, the heart and soul behind ‘Rama Jamaican Food’. Born and raised in the picturesque town of Port Antonio in Portland, Jamaica, Rama’s journey is as flavorful and vibrant as her cooking. In 1996, she embarked on a new adventure, moving to the USA, where she has since planted deep roots.
Rama is a proud mother of two sons and a daughter. Her journey in the USA has been marked by a remarkable 22-year career in the medical field, where she dedicated herself to helping others with compassion and skill. This experience honed her ability to care for people and instilled a strong sense of community and service.
